How Many? Babies 41, 42, 43, 44,45

“Poppy! Can you come here a minute.” I called.
“Coming!” she replied as she thundered up the stairs. “Yeah, what?” she said as she walked into the room.
“I have a date tonight, with the challenge dad, so you’re in charge. Ok? No going out and I want you in bed by nine.” I told her as I checked my make-up.

I sped out the door when I heard his car horn beep outside. “Have a nice EVENING” I said over my shoulder to Poppy.

We jumped in his car and sped off to his house, well more specifically his yard, well more specifically the tree outside his yard. We crept into a tree house that was abandoned many years ago.

We got down to business and well… the rest is history. After we’d made the baby he had a few rules to check up on.

Him- So I don’t get to visit the little squirt then? Or contribute to it’s upbringing in any way?
Me- Yep, no contact. I really wish it could be easier, but there’s been problems with visiting in the past, and it’s not really very good for the child’s upbringing. I can give you regular updates and pictures, but that’s it.

Him- Oh no. That’s fine. Regular updates is amazing, I never did think I’d be able to handle a kid.
I returned home with a baby, and great joy in my heart. “Poppy, I'm back!” She ran down the stairs and hugged me. It was only then I looked at the clock, I’d been out all day. “Why don’t you let me treat you to a meal at the bistro. Just me and you?”
“Really Ma?!” She replied. I nodded.

We arrived and decided to enjoy the crisp night. She had grilled Salmon and I had Angel Cake.

After our meal it was pretty late, so we both went to bed, and slept the night away. I curled up like a caterpillar under my covers. It was time to switch to a thicker duvet.

I really didn’t feel well that morning, and to make matters worse, Poppy woke up in a terrible mood.
I didn’t know that of course until she slid down the staircase dressed like, well I don’t know what like!
And then, of all the things she came up and decided to SCARE ME SENSELESS while I was cooking her breakfast.
I woke up from my dream with a gasp of shock. Poppy was kneeling above me, shaking me. “Mum, mum, wake up.” She said in a stage whisper.
"I opened my eyes and looked at her. “We need to put up the rest of the decorations. If they aren’t up, we’ll be the only undecorated house on the street. And what’ll that do for your image.”
“Probably nothing good.” I replied, yawning. So I got up from my nap and trudged to the cupboard where I keep the decorations. I pulled them out and we got busy around the house. But most impressive was the outside. I’d really gone al out this year, probably because it was my first year when I had kids in the house.

But by now, it was late. Poppy was tired and I had only stayed up so late to watch Russel Howard. She fell asleep half way through, her head resting on my leg. The next morning I woke her up and showed her my new baby.
“It’ll probably be born tonight. Christmas Eve. isn’t it exciting!”

She was really excited, so to work off some of her excess energy we had some dancing time in the garden. She was getting pretty good.

I barely realised we’d danced the day away until it started getting dark. And I was getting HUGE. It was like having triplets but, bigger!
Poppy went to bed and I went out on a little errand, I was searching for a puppy.

I got home, just in time to give birth to my beautiful little babies.
All five of them.

There was:
Della Everard, Vanessa Everard, cadence Everard and charlie Evard and Paisley Everard!

Poppy and I sat in the lounge, waiting for the clock to strike 12. Midnight, Christmas.
It was there, the final minute.

Filler

If I had put all this in a post it would have gotten very long, so I put it in a filler instead.

It was time for a birthday celebration in the Everard household. I got a temporary new outfit, and I was off for my hair doing the next day.

Now for all of us separately:

Avery Edit

Avery is a stereotypical teenage boy. But he’s my stereotypical teenage boy, so of course he has his oddities. For example, his pyjamas (these make me laugh) have, “Chemists do it on the table- PERIODICALLY”- on them. It is a terrible, yet amusing joke. And if this is what it takes to keep him interested in science, SO BE IT.

Calista Hadley has a very unique style. She says she wants to look like Cherry rose did as a teen, and she’s getting there. I really admire her for standing out and not doing what everyone else does. She’s very clever, I’m surprised she doesn’t have the genius trait. She does have the traits: Childish, Artistic, Great Kisser and Light Sleeper.

Jesse Edit

Jesse is a friendly young lad. He loves sports and videogames, but he has a soft spot for Calista Hadley and for me. He has his Dad’s hair, and my eye colour, but I think the rest is his father’s. He has taken a real interest in Harry Potter and likes tNovembreo pretend he’s one of Hogwarts’ students. Poppy Everard

Novembre and Poppy are the best of friends. When they found out ‘Vembre was moving they started to cry and crawled away to hide under the desk. Novembre has hair that is purple. Despite Leilah having Red and her father having brown. Poppy was a true berry baby. She was always smiling and happy. If there was ever a berry child it would have been her. She was named in honour of the soldiers who died in the wars, Poppy Day being what the British use to honour them on 11th November, and on Veterans Day in the USA. *(Please excuse my mediocre knowledge of US traditions.)*

I got a change of outfit the next day, and a haircut. I slipped into this comfortableScreenshot-80 Christmas themed jumper and a pair of jeans. It was an excellent way to get into the holiday spirit. Back at home we didn’t celebrate thanksgiving, but I think I want to start it, so I’m going to look up recipes for the perfect turkey dinner.

It’s a very American tradition, and I think I’m not British anymore, I’m a citizen of the USA and I should celebrate like one. Or at least that’s the Kids’ view. I think they just want turkey really.

The family and I were all going a bit stir crazy, so I took us all out to the new community pool. It was a pretty cool pool, if a little poorly designed. There was the large main pool, a smaller lap pool, and a separate adult pool, as well as a hot tub, slip-n-slide AND a sprinkler. There was also every kind of buffet table imaginable, Christmas, wedding, Halloween AND a plain yellow one.

We all had a fun filled day of, well fun really, until the REST of the Challenge moms showed up.Screenshot-91 Screenshot-90Screenshot-92

When it started to get dark I grilled up some Hotdogs, and we all ate then went to play in the sprinkler.

Almost everyone was joining in, there was Paisley, Calista, Hadley, Me, Avery, Calista Hadley, Jesse.Screenshot-95

Catherine was busy taking (very nice) photographs of butterflies. I asked her for one and she gave me this one:

It was a panorama, apparently. I was pulled away from Catherine’s GRIPPING talk about camera angles when Hadley grabbed me and whispered in my ear, “There’s a new club in town. Do you want to check it out. .It’s called Skye High. Apparently it’s at the highest point in town AND you own it. Hence the name. But also, it’s only for the very most important of people. Like you, me and the girls!”

I considered for a moment before we all joined up and set out on a journey for the club.

And, there was  no drunken baby making this time. Once bitten, twice shy as the saying goes.

I returned home at about 11. I’d let Avery and Calista Hadley stay up until I got home to watch the kids. And I’d also promised to let Avery learn to drive, he needs night hours to get his licence, and night is the only time you can get them. Of course in my infinite wisdom I let him take the brand new BMW out for lessons. If that had ended up wrapped around a tree… I shudder to think what might have happened.

So anyway, I got home after his lesson and fell asleep on the couch in the entrance. Too tired to notice the magazine cover bearing my picture.

Issue 1

Calista poked her head around the wall and said,

C-Avery’s taken the car. He’s gone to visit his girlfriend.

S- He has a GIRLFRIEND?

C- Yeah, something about a Dawn Turner woman, and her daughter. I dunno much about her. You’d be better off asking him. Oh, by the way Erik’s here.

I rushed off to see Erik sat at the piano and quickly joined him.

S- So, I was thinking of serving Thanksgiving dinner later, would you like to stay.

E- I’ll stay, IF I get to teach you how to play this. I don’t know WHAT happened to it, but it sounds like a deaf monkey tuned it.

Deal, I said. As we sat down for a lesson on Piano.

Pretty soon it was time to get to work on the meal. I set Erik off doing Pumpkin Pie, while I made the turkey. When he placed it in the oven to bake he wandered off for a while, and I stood there glaring at the space he had been in.

I, of course was working on the meal. (No Pics Sorry) and it was then the procession of my daughters arrived, Snow, Christine, Fallyn, Grace and Leilah with Novembre. Poppy was delighted to see her.

It was a lovely family meal with friends, family and sharing.

A/N I really wanted this post out, but I’ve been having problems in-game so the end is a little rubbish. And I really want it to go on for a while longer, but after the game crashed the following had happened:

  1. Calista and Avery moved out,
  2. Jesse moved out.
  3. Poppy’s a teen.
