Baby 37+38- A Day Without Drama is all I ask.

Baby #37:
I was in bed, sleeping. One of the few times I could with a newborn. When I got a text. I jumped, the ringtone surprised me. It was music of The Night from Phantom of The Opera, and very loud.
It was someone who called themselves O.G. I smiled at the joke, it was what the Phantom would call himself if he had a phone.
The message read:
O.G: Meet me at park. Sat. 7:00pm. O.G.
Me: Who are you?
O.G: The Opera Ghost, The Angel of Music, Erik. The list goes on. But be there, you won't regret it.
What a funny conversation. I expected it would be a challenge father, one who was a little obsessive. After all how else could he know about my and my creator's obsession with POTO.
I carried on with my life. Teaching Christine how to walk, and potty:

And caring for Leilah.
Of course the rest of the family were busy too. Raoul was always playing with blocks, Erik barely left the library and Solange was building up as many skills as possible. Your eyes are not deceiving you, he really is dressed as a princess.
My life was getting really busy. Our house had
been furnished, so it was time to go.
TOUR: This is the entrance to our house, and the rest of the bottom floor.
Quiet room. In noisy room all there is are some sculpting things and inventing things.
Lounge/Den
Laundry Room
Kitchen. With breakfast bar and dining room.
BackYard

Now the Top Floor:
This is the nursery and deck. It's where I'll teach the kids all sorts of skills.
My room, where all the magic happens, it's right next door to the nursery.
This is the girl's room. The theme is 'wild grrls' :/? (still under edit.)
The boy's room. They wanted a really modern and cool room.
The gym, added outside the girl's room at Solange's request. She'd designed a room suitable for everyone except herself.
This is a better view of the hot-tub and a bit of the pool.
So that's the house.
END TOUR
I spent the rest of the week looking after the kids, being the mother I should. The challenge was on hold until we were settled in. With only a baby and toddler to care for I had more time too spend with the kids.
I made dinner Wednesday night, hot-dogs for us, and tofu dogs for Solange, the vegetarian.
We all ate as a family,

And did the dishes, I put them in the dishwasher.
And then we had family game night, we played video games and Solange got a foot massage in the new massage chair.
And then it was time for Leilah to grow up into a toddler!
I made sure to snuggle her before she grew up. It would be the last time I felt her little baby skin next to mine.
And just like that she was a big girl. She had her father's hair, eyes and mouth. My Nose and face. And really beautiful tank skin. She was like an Italian, but better! She wears red, green and white a lot.
Christine and her kept separate, both preferring their imaginary friend dolls to the other.
Christine's I have nicknamed Ange De La Musique, because she is always singing to it.
We went to sleep waiting for the day and night ahead. I'd nearly forgotten about my date, until I looked at my calendar Thursday morning.
It was only the morning though, so I spent the day looking after the kids. I played xylophone with Christine.
And then I taught Leilah to talk. She kept getting distracted though, and looking at he toys on the deck.
But by then the kids were home and I had to get ready to go out. I began by sorting out the kids, especially Christine, she's a big screamer.
I LOVE this pic.
Then I had to gussy up, check I looked OK and head out.
I arrived at the park early, and there was no-one there so I sat on the swings and hung out for a while. Until I felt a hand on my shoulder.
I turned around and the hand's owner smiled and waved. I was so surprised I fainted.

His face fell and I felt very bad when I woke up.
He carried me underground, to a room under the park. He was very careful with me laying me on the bed until I was sufficiently woken up to talk to him.
Me- Who are you?
Him- I'm Erik.
I was amazed to be meeting the great grandson of my al time hero. It seems he had been watching me from afar. I cupped his head in my hands and asked him if he wanted to be in the challenge.
He said yes, quietly, then I kissed him before he had chance to decline. I swear if it was a movie there would have been fireworks.
But there wasn't the best the creator could do was a flashy heart in the corner.
It doesn't even flash :Z
We went to the bed, and I continued kissing him. My clothes were 'stolen', so I couldn't wear them, I just lay there and  relaxed, my eyes drooping. He couldn't keep his eyes (or hands) off me.

Where'd my clothes go.

Of course we had to do our business as well.

I was very happy to be talking to him. And asked him about his family. Apparently he inherited the deformity and the lack of social skills.
I really felt a connection between us. I couldn't be in love, I just couldn't. After all, remember the other challenge mums and what happens when they get together with a dad, and then they get jealous. But for some reason I was asking him if he would like to go out again some time. A voice in my head was screaming at me.
Voice: What the hell are you thinking.
Me: But I like him.
Voice: That's not the point, for one his grandfather's a (hot) psycho stalker dude, and he's a challenge dad. It'll never work out.
Me: Voice, be quiet. His grandfather was amazing at what he did, and if I could have a chance with him. Anyway you aren't real so shut up.
I had to go home then, children were waiting to be cared for, and we set a next date to meet up.  I got home to Leilah, who needed the bathroom, so I jumped in and taught her how to go potty. She smiled at me, like she was really thankful for it.
Her pooping face was absolutely adorable in my opinion.I made it massive so you can see all the epic cuteness.
I was surprised to see Erik at the doorway, not 5 minutes later with a gift for me and the children. It was a photo album of all of them, made with pictures from my blog.
I invited him inside to meet the toddlers, and he and Christine instantly took a shine to each other. She even let him potty train her!
It wasn't long however before he had to leave, and I got back to doing normal things. Like, ageing Christine,
worrying about Solange,
and forcing my children to feel the new baby. Muahaha.
Solange had to learn to drive, and I should have known better than to teach her on my last day of pregnancy.
because I had to run home mid lesson, and give birth to the baby. As soon as I arrived the kids were screaming, literally.
So I went upstairs, while they stayed down to talk.
A few minutes after the birth Solange came to see the baby and talk to me.
Solange- Mum, me and the others were talking, I think it's best if I move out now.
Me- But why sweetie, you don't have to you know.
Solange- I know but I want to, and you need the space to continue the challenge.
Me- Honey, you had me convinced at want to.
S- So I can! Oh YAY. Thank's Ma!
So just like that she became a YA and left. I was left to help all the other little ones grow up alone. *oh cruel world*
And welcome to the world:

Baby 36- A Hell Of A Hangover Part 2

As you guys remember last post I had a bit of a party going on. I left you at a very OBVIOUS cliffhanger. I hope it was obvious anyway...
I now include what happened after I left you:
I leant in to ask him what he was doing, holding my hands while he was meant to be working. His reply was:

"This." and he swung me round into a kiss.  I was caught off balance but ended up kissing him back. *oops*
I will admit he was a pretty good kisser. He pulled me closer to him and deepened the kiss. Long story short, hot-tub, me/him. Baby.

Our course those extra curricular
activities tired me out, so I went to bed. Only I spent the entire night almost on the floor, lemme see if I have a picture... I do.

But it's not so bad compared to the rest of us:

Calista is curled up under Hadley's bed, Hadley is on the far right bottom bunk. Catherine is top left. You know where I am and top right, sleeping normally is Carter.
The first one up the next morning was Hadley. She'd pulled her hair up into two pigtails and went to get ready for the day. She showered and gussyed up, then went down to prepare breakfast.

I assume so anyway. I refused to open my eyes, the lights were on too bright. Thank god for Dimmer Switches, and Hadley Waffles. Delicious.
I was finally able to brush my teeth with my eyes open. Albeit wearing sunglasses. Of course the sink would break the morning I have a hangover. Calista and I spent 1/2 an hour fixing it and cleaning up. That woman is a life saver. :)

We were interrupted by Hadley calling us downstairs for breakfast. Waffles. We got talking and I asked her how she could be so perky after last night while I sat there swallowing aspirin like sweets. Her answer was "It must be a vampire thing." It was a shame that she was becoming human again so soon, who wouldn't want to avoid a hangover.

I was doing the washing up when I felt a familiar feeling, nausea. I ran to the toilet to throw up. My worst fears and greatest joys were confirmed when I discovered I was pregnant. I had slept with a guy who could quite frankly rot in a cave for all I cared about him.  But I did care about the baby, so I stroked him/her and talked to her for a while.  I was pleased to be moving on in the challenge once again.

With the guests gone and kids dropped off at school I was free to continue on some chores, most notably calling the art gallery and asking if they could delay my delivery for a day. They could so I was pleased to be able to relax a little. Calista, apparently unable to keep away came for a visit. I think she was just looking for an excuse to talk to someone other than her family, especially considering what had happened between her and Simon. *Yes Even My Sim Stalks Your Blog, In Sims Version*

After finsihing the chores we sat down for coffee until the kids returned from their outing, and I'd aged up Christine it had been an out of school time trip, and they'd been given a worksheet to fill in.

I helped Raoul with his, he was struggling a little. But Erik just got on with his. I didn;t know he had finished until he came in and told me, "That was easy."
His first day of school had him pulling this face because he knew all the people from around town would be there.
Because for all his intelligence he doesn't know how to behave like a kid. He's a loner which doesn't help much with his social life. His only friend is Christine Daae, a girl from his school. Raoul seems a little enamoured with her as well however, and I really hope Erik gets to take her to prom one day, since Raoul can get any girl he likes.

I took Christine on a stroll in the new stroller. I'd never gotten one before.  When my aunt had been a baby my other aunt had been taking her for a stroll and they'd been attacked at knifepoint. The man with the knife had squashed the pushchair and nearly chopped off the top of my aunt's finger. It was hanging on by a thread as my other aunt took her home. (True Story.Happened to my mum and aunt.) So I had always been a little afraid of them. But this was supposedly very safe, with some sort of suspension which couldn't hurt anyone. Christine seemed to be enjoying herself.
We went as far to the edge of the island as we could and then we saw a house, right on the beach.
I was awestruck. It was the house I could only dream of and the setting was perfect. I could see a for sale sign just outside it and knew this was the house for me. The old one was fine, but poorly designed. I had fallen in love with this.

I had to get back to the house though. I had said I'd take everyone out swimming at the public pool. I was thankful for the good weather. The boys and Solange were really looking forward to it. While they enjoyed themselves Christine and myself were busy learning. I was learning why I'd fired my first agent: he was harassing me on a family day. It was the unwritten rule never to do that to a mother. I exploded and started yelling at him, and threatening to fire him.

Skye-Say teeth."
Christine- "Dentist!" she told me. then she grinned a baby smile and said
Christine"Teef." Close enough.
I'm assuming that the stress must have triggered labour, because I was in it. I rushed home with Christine to the baby room. I gave birth to a darling little girl called Leilah. She looked like me for the most part, without her father's Skin.

Baby 36- A Hell Of A Hangover Part 1

I have decided to give you a sneak peek of the upcoming post!!! I probably wont be finishing any time soon.
There was an art gallery opening downtown and it needed some paintings. They asked me to paint some and I agreed, on the condition that the whole family got to help. So help they did. We gathered together in the sitting room and I explained what it was all about.
They'd always enjoyed helping me out, especially if it involved getting very messy. So of course they were all for it. We all changed into old clothes and got on with painting. Most of the kids had no artistic skill, so Myself, Jude  and Darby did the best, due to some books I read them. All the pictures were due in by Saturday morning.

We all painted like crazy. Darby finished first, her painting was a small one. So ever the tech lover she took my camera and took some photo's around town.

After that of course there was the little ones to take care of. Christine was the hardest, she was very demanding. No sooner had I fed her than she dirtied her nappy (diaper in American)
And then the twins were lonely, with low social so I had to play with them. By the end of that I was totally wiped out, but knew I would be needed soon, so I had a nap.
It would be very late before the next father could get here. he had to take a boat over from Twinbrook.
I figured I had enough time to age up the kids, all of them. We didn't have to teach them anything.
First- Jude:
He was actually rather stunning. If I may say so. He had a very defined face, and was quite fit (athletic)
Then Darby-
She had grown into her face recently and had taken to wearing red oriental themed clothing. It was a nice change to her usual black, which she is wearing in this photo. I guess old habits die hard.
Last of the Three= Skylar:
He had really nice hair and the only one not to look like his Dad, with my face shape. He was RIDICULOUSLY muscular, despite the fact I'd never seen him training.
Next, becoming a teen was Solange. She had long since decided that she wanted to start getting the school to have a prom, so always kept her hair ready, in case of a surprise Prom Committee meeting. She thinks best with her hair tied back, so of course that's how she keeps it.
Erik and Raoul became children. I think Raoul is becoming lighter with each birthday, by the time he's a teen he should become almost normal!
They were polar opposites, and Erik is already showing musical and drama skill. He's going to join Drama club at school. Raoul will join BoyScouts.
I got a call from Erik's friend Christine's father. He wanted to know if they wanted to go over to Christine's to play. I jumped at the chance, and a plan was already forming in my head as to what I could do with my free night. I was long overdue to host a Challenge Mom party, and since none of us are pregnant(artistic licence claimed) it was the perfect time.

"Yay!" I cheered. A little later we all arrived at my second floor rooms, to have a party. We got it down on the dance floor for a while.

Catherine seems to be having a great time.

In fact we all do!
I got really worn out so decided to go over to the bar. Calista came over as well and we got talking. It seems she liked my party, but if only from her expression.

While we were talking it occured to me that my drink tasted a little.. odd... would that be the word to describe it? Probably. It was a good odd, though and after one I ordered another, I ordered a round, so we could all have one. The rest of us thought the same. By the end of that we were all a little tipsy. (If anyone doesn't know its an English word for drunk, but not properly drunk, just a little. Unless the Americans have it too. Tell me if you do!)
We decided to return to dancing. One minute we were alone and the next we were being photographed by a paparazzi. I bought one of the photo's off her, as a keep sake a few weeks after. The best one was probably this one, which I chose.

It was a Friday night and I was having fun, so I took a trip to the bar once more.
The mixologist was a little unusual to say the least.
Turn's out he's an elf. And he thinks himself a ladies man, he was trying all these chat up lines on me.

And apparently they were working. Oh what was I thinking. "I don't know but I'd like to check out your library." In short the night ended up something like this.....

What's it ended up as, find out in next post!
